Let me introduce you to Kyrie Irving, Shooting Guard/ Small Forward! Kyrie is facing harsh criticism today about his lack of leadership, but the reality is that his performance and leadership are absolutely stellar.
Think of Kyrie in much the same way that you think of Michael Jordan, then you will understand this Superstar.
Stop listening to ESPN and their lack of understanding of what a Point Guard does on offense. They went astray as they tried to describe a position for LeBron James.
There is no such thing as a Point Center, or Point Forward. One of the biggest reasons that LeBron is not a top 20 player is that he does not play any position other than, Ho Ass Bitch Guard, who’s favorite pass time is jacking 3s over smaller defenders and playing D on the weakest opposing player. You can not favorably compare LeBron to Kawhi, George, Durant, Thompson, Tatum, Giannis and many others, if you consider Defense. When you prepare your arguments against my position, consider that you do not know a defensive specialist by the name of Shane Battier, if LeBron played defense.
Steph Curry, D Lillard, and James Harden are Ball Possessive Shooting Guards.
If you want the best of Kyrie, then realize that his ability to handle the ball does not make him a Floor General any more than Shaquille O’Neal! Nate Robinson is a Point Guard!
Kyrie does not need to be Ball Possessive because he is the best Isolation Offensive Player in the game today. Kevin Durant is a similar threat, but Durant’s height/length is a greater factor than his finesse and skill. Kyrie can not be stopped by one player. A second defender is required. That is GAME!
Get a Court General to play with Kyrie, then sit back and enjoy the greatest show in Basketball.
