<\/figure>\n\n\n\nCertainly the team has very notable contributions from African American stars of the past and present with Bill Russell being one of the first Black NBA superstars, and later, the 1st<\/sup> Black NBA Coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Despite the current racial makeup of the team, I still imagine that opponents feel a little like they are playing against the “Great White Hopes”. When officiating gets one sided, it has a very awful look. This goes beyond team racial make ups and enters into the aura of \u201cWhiteboy Ball\u201d vs \u201cBlackboy Ball\u201d, with Boston fans patiently waiting for the infrequent opportunity to brag that \u201cWhiteboy Ball\u201d has prevailed. This places undue burden on opposing players, and suspicions about officiating and other factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Reality steps in whenever someone discusses the GOATS, with racists declaring that Larry Bird is in the Top 5 All Time. Larry was a champion without any doubt as well as being a very poor example of athleticism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Larry was one of the best shooters that the game has known, extremely clutch, and that was by far his greatest skill. For me his 2nd best quality was to maintain competitiveness despite his very poor athleticism. My Whiteboy had Game, and he is one of my favorites of all time. I have Bird as SF on my 2nd<\/sup> Team All Time, behind Scottie Pippen on my 1st<\/sup> Team All Time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Larry is #36 All Time in Scoring. #36 All Time in his best skill set with 3 rings. 84 players have at least 3 rings and 45 players have more than 3 rings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fanboys will vehemently defend his Top 5 status and it is Great White Hope Racial Supremacy, which is repulsive. There is no logical argument for Larry moving up 31 places above his best skill set ranking of #36. His “other performance stat rankings\u201d of #38 Steals, #44 Assists, #55 Rebounding, and #159 Blocks do not make a case for a #5 Over All Ranking, but a rating that is worse than #36! In other words, considering the first 35 rankings for the above 5 performance categories, Larry is not in them! There are many more names ahead of Larry as his rankings slide from left to right. In the 5th column for Blocks, Larry’s ranking is #159. which would indicate that 124 additional players are better than Larry at Blocking!<\/p>\n\n\n\n His 3 rings do count and his performances were stellar, with the exception of his pedestrian performance as he watched Cornbread Maxwell destroy the Lakers. What does not count are MVPs, All Team selections, All Star Appearances, and other Popular Notoriety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The NBA is \u201cAll Out\u201d with their whitening of the NBA and we need this nonsense to stop. GSW won the Finals Series this year, and 4 more Black Players vaulted ahead of Larry Bird’s 3 ring total. 1 more player equaled his 3 ring rotal. GSW beating the snot out of the Celtics by playing superior \u201cWhiteboy Ball\u201d, and yes I quoted that, with superior spot up shooting and more, had to feel like Armageddon to the Boston Fan Base. GSW, OAKTOWN, if you will, \u201cThe Greatest Team In NBA History\u201d had a lot to prove.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bravo GSW. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Great White Hope Supremacy Racism will live on.
